Strength and Stability

Pilates inspired matwork classes focussing on specific exercises to improve core stability, postural muscle control and balance within the body.

These classes are suitable for all levels and experience.

Matwork classes are perfect for maintaining strength, fitness, and creating long, lean muscles but are also fantastic for rehabilitation following an injury and for staying injury free.

Control, Focus and Precision

The six principles of pilates are

Control, Concentration, Centre (Core), Flow, Precision, Breathing.

At Warwick Physiotherapy we take a very hands on approach to ensure that you are practicing and performing your movements with the best technique. This is not only important for injury prevention but is essential for ensuring that you are getting the most out of your mat class.

 

Equipment

These classes are mat based and we often incorporate small apparatus including balls, rings, bands and rollers.

Small Class Size

We cap mat classes at 10 participants to ensure that everyone is getting maximum attention.
